Sheds Aren’t Just for Storage: 5 Creative Ideas to Make Your Shed Shine!

Our company prides itself on building premium sheds; sheds that are not only functional, but look great, last a long time, and make you feel excited about your property.

So we thought it would be helpful to give you some creative ideas for how to make it stand out!

If you don’t have a shed yet, you can start the experience from the ground up by designing your own custom shed from scratch

You can pick the size, shape, siding material, roof type, windows, and door style that you want.

And if you already have a shed, there are still plenty of ways to make it your own.

1. Paint your shed a unique color!

Some people might think that painting their shed a unique color is tacky, but we say go for it!

A pop of color will definitely make your shed stand out from the rest. Plus, it’s fun to make something your own. Not sure what color to choose? Try a bold color like our Copper Mountain or Heritage Red!

(Want your shed to match your home? Just request a custom color when you build your shed and we can make it happen!)

2. Add a deck or porch to the front of your shed.

This will create a nice spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. You can even add some furniture like a rocking chair or small table to make it more inviting.

We have some fantastic porch packages to choose from!

Porches not only look great, but they’re also functional; they provide a way to keep your shed clean and dry while still being able to enjoy the outdoors, and make a nice spot for your grill!

3. Install a window box or flower pots around the windows.

This is a simple way to add some charm and curb appeal to your shed. You can plant some flowers or herbs that will bloom throughout the season, or get creative with seasonal decorations!

Window boxes are also a great way to show off your green thumb if you don’t have much space for a garden.

We love this idea because it’s easy and relatively inexpensive, but really adds some character!

4. Hang a bird feeder!

Another simple way to spruce up your shed is by adding a bird feeder on the outside. This is a great way to attract some wildlife to your property, and also makes it more functional!

Plus, it’s just fun to watch the birds flocking to your feeder and taking advantage of the space.

(We recommend hanging it close to a window so you can watch the birds while you’re inside your shed. Makes it nice and peaceful!)

5. Plant flowers or shrubs around the base of your shed.

This is a great way to add some color and life to your shed, and it’s also low maintenance.

You can choose flowers that bloom throughout the season or pick a few evergreen shrubs that will look nice all year round.

Adding some plants around your shed is an easy way to make it look more inviting and homey, and it’ll definitely stand out from the rest!

We hope you found these ideas helpful and that you’re inspired to make your shed shine! If you have any questions or need help getting started, feel free to give us a call or stop by one of our fantastic dealers
